About the job
Access Legal is on a mission to transform the accessibility of legal services across North America.
Millions of Americans need legal help every year but never hire an attorney because traditional legal services can be too expensive or difficult to navigate. We are building a better way for law firms to serve those clients while growing profitable, sustainable practices.
As Access Legal has grown, so has the complexity of the systems behind the business. We have significant investment in marketing, custom technology, a growing national network of law firms, and a large amount of data moving between our marketing, sales, client success, finance, and technology teams every day.
We are looking for a Head of Revenue Operations to own and improve the systems that connect all of those pieces.
We are not looking for someone who creates a RevOps strategy, builds a technical roadmap, and then hands the execution to another person or development team. We need someone who can understand the business problem, determine the right technical solution, and then get directly into Salesforce, integrations, automation, data, APIs, and code to build it.
You’ll work closely with the Access Legal leadership team and have significant ownership over how our revenue systems are designed, built, and improved as the company continues to scale.
Job Title: Head of Revenue Operations
Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously improve our Salesforce architecture and overall revenue operations infrastructure.
- Build custom Salesforce functionality using tools including Salesforce Flow, Apex, SOQL, and related technologies.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and our internal and external systems.
- Work directly with APIs, webhooks, databases, automation tools, and custom technology.
- Connect marketing activity and advertising data to sales performance, client success, and revenue.
- Improve marketing attribution, revenue reporting, forecasting, and data quality across the business.
- Identify bottlenecks, broken processes, and gaps across the full revenue lifecycle and determine how to fix them.
- Automate manual processes that create unnecessary work or slow teams down.
- Build reporting and systems that give leadership clear, reliable answers from complicated business data.
- Partner directly with our marketing, sales, client success, finance, and development teams to improve how information moves throughout the company.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational problems as they arise, including getting directly into the system or code when necessary.
- Help design scalable systems and processes that can support Access Legal as the company continues to grow.
- Evaluate existing tools and processes and recommend when something should be improved, rebuilt, automated, integrated, or replaced.
Qualifications:
- Significant hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Salesforce development experience is required for this position.
- Strong working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flow, and Salesforce architecture.
- Experience building and troubleshooting APIs, integrations, webhooks, and database connections.
- Experience personally building Salesforce functionality beyond administration, dashboards, reports, and basic configuration.
- Strong understanding of marketing attribution, sales operations, revenue reporting, forecasting, and the customer/revenue lifecycle.
- Experience designing systems and processes for a growing company.
- Ability to diagnose a business or technical problem, determine the right solution, and execute that solution yourself.
- Ability to move comfortably between technical implementation and conversations with nontechnical business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complicated technical concepts clearly and practically.
- Comfortable working across multiple departments and taking ownership of problems that may not fit neatly within one function.
- Highly proficient with modern technology and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
Experience with Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, broader software development, or custom application development is a strong plus.
Important: If your Salesforce experience is primarily administration, dashboards, reporting, or managing outside developers, this is likely not the right role. We are looking for someone who can personally build and troubleshoot technical Salesforce solutions.
Job Type:
- Full-time position.
- 100% remote, work-from-home role.
- You will work closely with Access Legal’s leadership team and multiple departments across the company.
- This role offers significant autonomy and ownership over the systems you build and improve.
Why This Role:
This is an opportunity to own an important part of the infrastructure behind a rapidly growing company.
Some of our systems are already in place, but there is still a significant amount to build, improve, automate, connect, and rethink.
You will have direct access to the people making business decisions, the autonomy to solve meaningful problems, and the ability to see the impact of what you build across the company.
If a problem crosses Salesforce, marketing, sales, finance, data, automation, integrations, or technology, we want someone who is willing to dig into it, understand what is happening, and figure out how to make it better.
Interested?
Tell us about the most impactful Salesforce or RevOps system you personally designed and built. What problem were you solving, what did you personally build, and what was the result?
Thank you for your interest in this unique position. We look forward to speaking with you soon!
